A Call To
Prayer and Worship was started by a movement of God. God
inspired the folks at BASICS in Milwaukee to organize this day
of prayer and worship to lift high the name of Jesus Christ!
ABOUT
BASICS
A small group of Christian business and nonprofit leaders, along
with Arn Quakkelaar, founded BASICS in 1996 to mobilize, collaborate,
coordinate and network with faithbased ministries in all segments
of society to meet the personal, spiritual, physical and economic
needs of people in Milwaukee and surrounding communities.
Our goal
is to bring together Brothers and Sisters in Christ to Serve
our Lord in ways that meet the physical and spiritual needs of
people in the inner city. Since its founding, BASICS has assisted
more than 200 church pastors, 100 outreach ministry leaders and
has developed a network of nearly 30 urban contractors to help
with construction projects that are required to meet codes.
